I'm planning to train my skill in painting which I just learned..
The problem is, I really sucks at drawing!
So, I browsed on DA for nice lineart for my practice and found this one. Since it is for practice use, I decided not to paint a human figure for the start because of the complexity...(especially the hair!)
I've added some "after battle" effects.(Does it works?)
This is the final work! Your comments and critics are very welcomed!
nice! the background works well with the colors for the astray. the after battle spots look good as well. i think the one thing i would do is to make some of the surfaces solid shades (give harder edges to the shadows basically) and bring out a few highlights. he may be smudged up but the metal would still reflect a little i think. over all though good job! thanks for coloring my lineart!! ^_^
